Univenture 2024 & VMS - Call for Ideas and Quick Survey (Deadline: October 31st, 23:59)
Thanks to this form, you can apply to participate in Univenture - our "startup studio", in joint with MIBE & Third Mission Office University of Pavia - as well as our 'Venture Mentoring Service' initiative, a sister programme of MIT-Boston
You may choose to participate in either Univenture or the mentoring program independently. However, please be aware that candidates involved in Univenture will be given high priority during the selection process for the mentoring program, making it less likely to be chosen if you are not part of Univenture.

ABOUT UNIVENTURE
"Univenture" is the "startup studio" organized by the third mission Office with a master's degree in International Business and Entrepreneurship and the research center ITIR.
It's a collaborative environment for entrepreneurs to validate their ideas, build prototypes, and launch new businesses. A key aspect is the collaboration among startups and the students of the course "Innovation Management", that will work to support the validation of the innovative project (business model validation, market analysis, etc.) from early November to Mid December 2024.

Univenture Rewards:
* 10.000 euros, offered by Pavia Municipality;
* Up to 50.000 euro- equivalent University services for projects in the Agritech sector, funded by PNRR NODES Ecosystem (Grant agreement n.ECS00000036);
* One week experience in Boston (US), meeting other startups, universities, business angels / venture capitalists (only for projects regarding sustainable innovation / biodiversity management).

ABOUT "VENTURE MENTORING SERVICE" (VMS)
ITIR-University of Pavia, jointly with the "National Biodiversity Future Center" (NBFC) is the first center in Italy with is a "sister programme" of the mentoring service offered by MIT in Boston - key stakeholder in this initiative -, using the same methodology and same quality control system, leveraging on an extraordinary network of mentors with great successful experience as innovators, offering their advice just as a kind of "give back" (no business interests in your project).
This service is open to all, but is primarily focused on sustainable innovation / biodiversity safeguard, restoration and management.
This VMS is coordinated by prof. Diala Kabbara.

IMPORTANT: NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE NOW
Although the program takes place in Pavia, anyone from anywhere in Italy or the world can participate in both Univenture and VMS. It is possible to join remotely as well. However, if accepted into the Univenture program, you will need to ensure your presence in Pavia two days: at the Idea Fair (Novembre 7th 2024) and the final presentations (December 12th 2024).
